Porsche Club of America, Los Angeles
60th Anniversary Campaign

Challenge: The Los Angeles chapter of the Porsche Club of America wanted to celebrate their 60th anniversary on social. They wanted it to look good, obviously, but they also wanted to make competing chapters jealous and catch the eye of Porsche itself. That's when they came to us.


Solution: A social program that was segmented into stages by decade in the club's history, supplemented by contests in which entrants could win dinner for two at Restaurant 917, the upscale eatery at the Porsche Experience Center in Carson.


Result: An Instagram-based campaign for which I wrote the copy and did the design work as well. It was a combination of collage work and video editing, paired with copy referencing the cultural events that unfolded during each decade. The client was over the moon about the campaign's outcome, and I somehow resisted the urge to riff on Randy Newman's I Love L.A.
